Benefitting from over 10 years of experience and built around retail best practices, our My-Scan Omni-Channel platform is implemented in different supermarkets and hypermarkets in over 30 countries all over the world. To strengthen our Professional Services Team we are looking for a Junior Application Support Engineer.

What will you be doing?

As Application Support Engineer you are responsible for the availability, scalability, performance, security and delivery of our in-house developed solutions. In this role you should always be in the lookout to make sure our solutions are available and have as close to zero downtime.

You will analyse, reproduce and resolve issues and service requests related to the self-scanning and loyalty systems remotely from our office. Issues and requests regarding the systems or used hardware will be solved together with strategic partners or the IT-department of the customer. You strive for a good SLA in terms of performance numbers and customer experience.

As Application Support Engineer, you will carefully prepare, test and document new installations and updates of our mobile self-scanning solutions and loyalty systems. You will strengthen our consultancy team with your technical knowledge when needed. Suggestions to improve our delivery proces and prevent issues are highly encouraged.

You will be part of the Professional Services Team that consists of 3 IT Operation Engineers, 5 Implementation Consultants and a Project Manager. The team strives for agilty and is working closely together with the Development team.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equilivant reasoning level;
  • Microsoft Server, SQL, Virtualisation and Networking knowledge with a drive for learning;
  • Ability to solve complexe problems and demonstrate your solutions clearly;
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
  • You are enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn.
